I do know someone who found a Canadian goose with an injured wing and took it home and fixed it up. .now its just decided it's home and stays right in her yard. She can't fence it in or anything cause your supposed to have a permit to keep them. It doesn't seem aggressive at all it just stands there like a statue. Kinda creepy though it just stands there looking at you and you wonder what it's thinking. . I'm not gonna get close enough to find out!

My daughter got attacked by a goose when she was little at a park. Lol it didn't hurt her but she has hated them ever since.

She took a chance saving it if she were to get caught with it. I think it's a pretty hefty fine. But good luck finding anyone around here to take an injured wild bird. Or a vet that knows how to treat a bird for that matter.
