You dont want to feed layer to ducks that are not curently laying reguardless of age or ability.

I use layer I just cut it in winter with the 6 way scratch I get. No corn or soy. Since I feed Non GMO I can't be picky. I've never had any problems and have some pretty old healthy ducks and chickens. But that is where an all flock would be best or duck feed.
