Duckling flipping on back

Our rescue just received a duckling that was hatched at a school. It is flipping on its back but eating and drinking normally. It appears to have a small abscess on its spine. He doesn't throw his head back like in stargazing but his leg straighten out and he can't stand up.

Should we feed him poly Sol vitamins?
Any other ideas of what it could be?

You could try putting it in a small dish like a sour cream container to see if it helps to push against something. Otherwise you could try tying the legs together so they can't splay. I haven't tried it so I'm unsure how it's done.

His legs seem to be working fine it seems like some type of deficiency

We put him in a container it seems to be working good so far he's eating a ton
