Duckling flipping over

Our rescue just received a duckling that was hatched at a school. It is flipping on its back but eating and drinking normally. It appears to have a small abscess on its spine. He doesn't throw his head back like in stargazing but his leg straighten out and he can't stand up.

Should we feed him poly Sol vitamins?
Any other ideas of what it could be?

VItamins will probably help. Creating another thread is not going to get you answers faster.

Poly vi sol without iron just a couple drops. I can’t see your photo.

I saw now,I’d make a donut with a towel and place him down in it to keep him from flipping over put food and water where he can get to it. Or try the sock place the duckling in s sock over night head out I think you can find the video on you tube. Hopefully the vitamins will help get him on track.

yes I have seen that he is much better and regaining his balance but i guess i was wrong about him not having splayed leg
