Duckling green poop

Since i am sick i can not go out and buy my ducklings feeds.so i was giving them cooked plain rice.But Whenever i give them cooked plain rice they have green poop.I gave them medicine and their poop became normal.But now again when i gave them cooked plain rice they are pooping green
N.b i had given them plain cooked rice before and they were fine at first.

Welcome to BYC. Rice alone is not providing the nutrients they need. Agree with Darrinhuns that you should order proper feed on line and have it delivered.

I am giving them feed now but i am curious to know can plain cooked rice cause green poop??Or there are some serious problem??at this moment i cannot take them to the vet

Good luck with your ducklings. They really need fortified feed, so having the feed delivered is your best option....or have a friend or neighbor run to the feed store for you???

Cooked plain rice offers little nutrition and is far from a complete diet. The ducklings are malnourished.

As others have stated, rice is by no means a healthy/complete food for ducklings, and prolonged use of it is going to prove detrimental to your little ducklings health.
