Duckling has bruised looking bill?

3 day old duckling has bruised bill, lethargic and not peeping. Seems to have happened very suddenly. Being raised by momma So I have kept my distance and let her thing.

Looks like it got its Bill stuck someplace or a Rat bit it?..I see small puncture wounds?.....Not sure?

The duckling passed. I was outside with them not very far. They took a stroll with momma and I took an opportunity to clean the duck house. Next thing I know this one is lagging behind. So strange. Not sure what happened. Seems to have had a concussion.

Sure no kids were being little s**ts and shot it with an airsoft or bb gun and hit its bill?
