Duckling hatched with Wry Neck, Trouble Standing

I had one like this once and she lived a very good life. Have seen a few other here too. Seems like it's more of a type scoliosis than a wry neck, but that's just a guess. Of course b vitamins won't hurt, so I would do that.

I think I am going to have to order some extra vitamins for him then and another dimmer switch for the heat lamp so I can put him in his own brooder. The other two are just running around in there like crazy and knocking him over.

Yes, I was thinking a type of scoliosis too! He hatched this way and you can feel his spine is curved. It's not muscular. He needs a little wheel chair with extra support on one side. He is on Electrolytes with vitamins and has been since day one, but I'll get some extra too.

Bless I sure hope the little one makes it. They try so hard. I think that’s a great idea make it so they can all still see each other so when this one is stronger they won’t look at it as an intruder.

Vitamin e and selenium are important for this issue too. Best source I found was scrambled egg and parsley. These work really well and no major worry about over dosing because both of those are fat soluble instead of water soluble.

I can't say how much I appreciate all your help. Last night I was up several times to check on little Boo, he was on his back every time. I watch the other two ducks with him and it seems they are going out of their way to knock him down and trample over him. Today I ordered another dimmer switch for the heat lamp (so I can keep the heat correct) so I'll be able to move him into his own brooder. I'm starting to fear that he might have to be euthed, but I'm going to keep trying until there is no hope. Once I get him by himself I can work on more intense treatment. I'm thinking of some physio therapy, like a warm water swim to help him get both legs going. He kind of needs a bath anyway from constantly falling into the poop.

Just an updated on my disabled duckling. Due to the spinal deformity of his neck, he was so off balance, he could no longer stand, eat or drink unassisted. I thought he might be better if he could swim and exercise his legs. Sadly he was not able to swim without me holding him upright. I felt that the only humane thing to do was let him go, so I had him euthanized this morning. A duck isn't a duck that can only lay flat on his back and can't swim. The good news is the other two ducklings that hatched with him are thriving.
