Duckling Hatching Assistance

If been assisting this duckling, it was due to hatch on Sunday. Anyone have a idea what I should do next? I’m worried about blood vessels, I don’t want it to bleed out. I will attach a photo of what I have completed so far. It’s hard to tell from the picture but I have removed the shell in a ring all the way around.

I'd remove those other shells. Can you wet the membrane down so we can see the duckling?

It is an Indian Runner duck. It would be day 32 today, I’ll try wetting the membrane.

It’s looks like it hasn’t absorbed the yolk or veins yet, how much longer should I give it?

Until those things are absorbed all the way. How is the duckling positioned in there? The yolk shouldn't be up that high usually.

Sadly the egg passed away last night, I’m not sure why the yolk was so far forward maybe that’s why it didn’t make it.
