Duckling hatching - in lockdown

No. Turning at the end of incubation is not that important.
It is more important at the beginning.

Coconut oil on the membrane will help keep it from drying out.
You may have to reapply often...just don't smother it on.

The pip looks good, I doubt that it will need any help, but chipping away a little shell and moistening it will give you an idea of what’s going on, if it becomes necessary.

Thank you so much. Going to bed now so will see what it looks like in the morning. I have some coconut oil if necessary but fingers crossed won't need it... :fl

I could not have done this hatch without all the amazing help from you guys so thank you so much!!

Managed to resist temptation to do anything and duckling number 4 hatched this evening without assistance :celebrate:celebrate:celebrate
