Another great day for Grape. It’s smaller then it’s friends by a bit, but he’s really active and social. I know he’s about 14 hours younger but still.

Thank you very much kind friends. My boyfriend reported to me today that one of the Campbell’s voices is starting to drop. Soon they’ll be all grown up and I’ll be seeing them all off to duck kindergarten and then duck college, immediately after.

They lasted less than 48 hours.
You had a good hatch though. Good job! The more hatches you do, you are bound to see strange things. Not every chick will be perfect. Such is life. Cute babies you have there.

He may have sight or hearing issues ? that could be why he is so loud?

It's sad when we become empty nesters, then weddings have to be planned to then baby showers my it just goes on an on.

Well only thing to watch for if Grape turns out to be female is mating that would not be good with her lil head like that.

Other than that though is she acting normal like the rest of the ducklings?

Grape acts completely normal, is very very social and attached to the other ducklings, and enjoys swimming and sleeping with them. The only thing is, he’s smaller then the rest. I know he’s the youngest but I even suggested that we try and offer food separately away from the rest, even though I’ve seen him eat and drink, but anytime he’s alone he cries.
