I would try to estimate 1/5 of a capsule. If you put too much, it won’t hurt him. They spill a lot.

Only asking because your having an issue..I know Ducks...Ducks enjoy water, the water was not cold. The duck chose to go in there by choice, this is natural behavior? He also sits in his food bowl it's just his personality. It actually helps him not having to move too far to get to his water and food bowl![]()
I use one that looks like thisAs they get older and go outside, what do you guys use or plan to use as a feeder? Will they use thise enclosed ones like the chickens? And what kind of ground cover after they kill the grass? I know straw for the house and I can already see it will be a mess..lol

It’s a tote that I cut holes out of, put plumbing elbows in. They stick their neck in to get the food. A lot less messy this way.
*Not my picture, just used as a reference.
Alright, thanks for asking. The ducks doing pretty good as of now, he needs encouragement to eat and drink but we used niacin and he should get better hopefully. No mean to argueOnly asking because your having an issue..I know Ducks...
Maybe put the lid on the water bowl with a spot cutout so that they can only stick their head in. Less mess and no worries about ducks getting cold. They do enjoy water, but they don't have the feathers needed to keep warm and insulated yet. They only have their baby feathers. Sorry, can't remember the correct feather terms.Ducks enjoy water, the water was not cold. The duck chose to go in there by choice, this is natural behavior? Hi there
Sorry your having this issue
If you can find brewers yeast or nutritional yeast you can mix one tablespoon per cup of feed for your ducklings. That's an easy way to get the niacin into them.
