Gorgeous ducklings can we have updated pictures please.
Well, we lost two of our original flock to a raccoon, which was devastating :( we got three more, with similar colours as those we lost, but you can tell they’re younger. The two gen1 ducks facing right in the photo. One has a metallic green head and the other quacks so loudly we’re pretty confident we’ve identified them as a drake and duck so far :) We also got to see the parents when we went back a second time - beautiful khaki campbells for sure and seeing as there are no other ducks, it must be their lineage that may be a bit mixed.

One of the new babies (we’re calling the trio the millennials) is almost lavender in colour - and matching one of the breeding ducks on the farm. Can’t wait to see how they turn out!

Another few weeks have passed - and we can say with confidence we have two females (first picture in the front, and the very dark one in the back) based on the quacks, and one of the boys (standing in the front of the group) has beautiful gray feathers on his back - curious what he will look like all grown up!

Oh, and they’ve taken to hanging at the side of the house in the shade, and peeking in through the bathroom window when we shower! Lol!
