We stepped in! There were no veins to be seen. I will say I was shocked at how hard the dried membrane had become - he was locked in by it! Flips got a chance to see his new family! Now I pray he makes it. I cant even imagine how exhausted he must be. Also shocked how contorted he was in there. What an adventure!

No. What is that? I figured he would just go sleep, but not Flips! He’s flipping around and trying to hatch out of the incubator now. He is too tall for the incubator. How soon can we get him into the brooder?

Unfortunately, Flips is our sole survivor. Not sure how it is going to work out. We have a a mirror and a fluffy stuffed animal for him in the brooder. He is going to be a very spoiled duckling.

[Bug n Flock]

I've raised 2 solo ducklings. Gunter was a solo duck solo chick and spoiled rotten tho prolly not as happy as he could have been. I did what I could but I'm sure he was loney. Nibbler got brooded with a chick for a buddy(George, our rooster). Know anyone with baby chicks or ducklings you could get for him to have a friend?
