Duckling...is it sick or not sick?

I have heard that too @DuckyDonna I always gave mine warm water just because they were babies and it just seemed natural.
Well, you're smarter than I am because I never gave it a thought! I do hatch when its summer though but I'm fixin to hatch again in a couple of days and I will be very conscious of that. You know, you just go to the sink or wherever, turn on the water and never think about the temperature. At least I never did until now.

But is there also higher risk of bacterial related illness with warm water?

(Not disagreeing, just wondering about the different variables for this. Its interesting to hear your experience.)

I don't have any first-hand experience with any problems but I have seen @casportpony tell people that and she's an expert plus it makes sense. I doubt it causes more bacteria but I think really cold water could be such a shock to their little system it sends them into problems. You know how when we are sick they say no ice water.

Very cool thanks. I think you guys are probably right.
