So no shavings?The kind with pain reliever is fine. I use it all the time. There isn’t enough lidocaine in it to be harmful.
I’d keep the duckling away from the others for a while. It should close up within a day or so. Just keep it on something clean and dry, and nothing that can rip it open any more.
