Duckling making Honking noise

From what I understand you cannot overdose them with the yeast. They just poop out what is not needed.

Wow... I was worried because I just suddenly heard several honking noises. Thought my baby was sick. Went back to normal tho. So that means she's a girl? But... my ducklings are younger... between 2-3 weeks.

I have two groups a week apart. My older 4 are 2 Pekins and 2 KC, I have 2 in that group that just started honking and they are between 2 and 3 weeks.

I wish my babies could start honking that early! My 5 runners will be 4 weeks old this Wednesday, yet only 1 of them have honked so far. I hope I don't end up with 4 drakes! My previous 6 pekins only had one honking at 4 weeks too.

My Pekin female used to honk when she was that age. Was the funniest thing, and was the inspiration behind my backyard chickens username!

I have a pekin he or she is 6 weeks old. When did you pekin stop honking?

I have had ducklings honk and quack for a week or so before losing thier voice and getting the drake rasp. I would make sure they keep the honk for a bit before declaring them a hen.
