Hello,
I currently have four runner ducks hatching on day 27. Two have externally piped at the wrong end and two at the right.

All ducklings that I have hatched in this incubator have needed help hatching as the humidity is pretty spotty but I haven't had any die yet and almost always an 100% hatch rate.

It has been over 24 hours, probably more like 32 hours since my first egg piped but it still has veins visible. It is yawning and peeping really loudly.

I am not going to do anything until this stops and I know that they have fully absorbed the yoke.

Do you reccon they are just taking their time? I have been reading too much online and am worried they may be too big to breathe properly but they are peeping a tonne so I guess their lungs are working just fine ?

Thank you x

Here is a picture of one. The membrane has coconut oil on and I have a humidifier going if I remove them from the incubator.
