Duckling not using leg

Dottie is back out with the clan, shes just about fully recovered. I noticed shes stops and and sits to rest more than the other ducklings, but she not limping or anything so yayy! I'll keep a close eye for any splay leg are anything.

Hi! I have a Cayuga duckling less than a week old with what seems like the exact same issue. After two days of that leg being almost totally unresponsive, this post gave me some hope. Would you tell me how long your little one was like this and when he/she started showing signs of using the leg again?

It was about a week ☺️ good luck.

:welcome

We have another one going through this that is 3 days old Can you post pictures of the leg? I would separate the duckling from the rest by setting up a small brooder inside the brooder you are using so they can all still see each other but your little one isn't getting run over. You can use some hardware cloth I wrapped gorilla tape around the edges to keep it from poking my ducklings but this way your little one doesn't get injured from being trampled.

Explain exactly what is wrong was it hatched by you and did it come out of the egg like this?
