Duckling shaking, having a tough time walking?

I have one source that says to give niacin at 50 mg/kg every 8 hours, so for your duckling that's about 25 mg three times a day of giving just niacin.

The same source says the b complex dose is usually based on thiamine at 2 mg/kg, which for a duckling the size of your duckling is about one drop.

@CayugaJana and @Miss Lydia, where/how did we come up with the 1 ml dose?

As I mentioned @CayugaJana was the person who introduced us to B complex liquid don't remember when it exactly got started but a lot of ducklings have truly been helped by it.

I feel bad because I think I might have posted a dosing picture from that poultrydvm or duckdvm site, and I think it was wrong. .

Yes, so based on that, and if one were using the cattle complex, the math for a one pound duckling is:
1 / 2 x 2 / 100 = ~0.01 ml, which is about 1/2 a drop.

Wow what a huge difference. And will they not pee out what they don’t need? Please go tell the person who thinks their duckling is doing the same as Spazz. Maybe they can at least get the vitamins.

I know very very little about ducks and ducklings but after reading all the posts I agree that a vitamin deficiency is a good possibility and y’all are on top off that If it’s a neurological issue that doesn’t improve with supplements would “physical therapy” help? Like the swimming, maybe periods of time in a sling with Spazz’s feet touching the ground lightly and letting him bear weight a little at a time to strengthen his legs? Again, just a thought that popped in my head
