Duckling shaking, having a tough time walking?

Not the best picture but here they were this afternoon. The little mallards like to sleep on Spazz and Tazz.

tazz is in the front looking up at me. But, the really cool thing is Spazz is shaking so much less that you can see the little mallard has no issue resting on him now. Honestly that’s how I noticed Spazz wasn’t shaking as much!

Ok so swimming is already a daily/every night ritual for the the duckling because I had the same idea!

I have thought up a sling or harness yet, but the thought did cross my mind. I do support it and try to help it walk. It comes out a few times a day in my house on the carpet so it can stretch and try to move a little easier.

I think when swimming I also need to add in time where he can barley touch the bottom as this seems harder/more upsetting for him than normal swimming.

Oh this makes my heart so happy!:love

If he’s used to shaking all the time he was compensating how he walks to try to keep up with everyone. And since it has drastically reduced, he might have to learn how to walk all over?? I sure hope he continues to get better!!:wee

Isn’t it a bummer that it’s hard to find a vet with lots of experience with ducks?!

So do you think it was the b complex? That is the best news I have heard today. Yippie. What a precious picture.

I’m not sure. I don’t think it’s hurting! But it could be growing out of it?

I just hope he/she keeps improving! I plan on keeping up with the b complex and everything else for a while.
