Duckling Still Or Stuck In Egg.

Use bacitracin ointment on the membrane it will keep from infection happening and moisten the membrane. I had this happen to a duckling to me a month ago. About 3 times a day moisten it and keep the baby peeping. If no attempt chizzle the shell carefully and see if you get blood, if so stop and try again an hour later. This took me over the course of a day to hatch a muscovy who pipped 3 days before I assisted hatched her out. Same thing happened to a chicken peep. All my tempts and humidity were spot on.

Keep us posted :)

I wouldn't chip any shell off of the membrane, that could cause it to dry out and then he would be in trouble.
as he is absorbing the yolk, he is growing . once he gets larger the egg will not hold him back..
