Duckling Swollen Bill- Wasp Sting?

Hey all!
I woke up this morning to my month old pekin duck peeping his head off as usual, but today his bill is purple and swollen! He’s acting pretty normal, eating and drinking with a fair amount of eagerness, so I’m not too worried. Nevertheless, I want to be absolutely sure- is there anything I should put on his bill to help him or is it possible it’s not a sting? Thank you!

Bills are actually pretty tender on ducks, it might be a sting or could be a chicken peck or he could even have banged it on something. I’d just keep an eye on it for now, the swelling should go down in a few days but don’t be surprised if it peels like a blister. Good luck duck!
