They are so cute....
Lol I can’t believe I haven’t told this story before! One day I put on my Bumblefoot jacket and went out side to pet my Pekin drake, Quakers. His full name is Quakers Le Great. So I let my female out and picked him up and set him on the picnic table and starting talking to him, because he truly listens to me. I asked him “How many male ducks do you want?” No response. So I told him “that’s understandable, I would want no drakes as well. They would be fighting me and I would constantly be on the lookout.” About 10 minutes later of non-stop talking, I came up with the question “how many females do you want?”. That, was such a good answer of his. He replied “Quaa, Quaa, Quaay, Quaa, Quaa, Quaa, Quaa, Quaay, Quaa, Quaa, Quaa, Quaa, Quaay, Quaa, Quaa” and, if you didn’t know, he speaks “qualish” and “Quaa” or “Quaay” means numbers. So if you said “Quaa” fifteen times, like he said, he said he wanted fifteen females.
Is that a chicken brooding ducklings? My favorite broody and her babies.
