I bet we buy the same ours feed comes from VA I only have to travel 45 miles round trip for it though. We have a feed store In town but their Non GMO has porcine in it I don’t like it. Not that I eat it mind you, lol but I don’t even like the looks of it.

Someone after my own heart. Not a fan of tucker but that's all I can get here. I prefer my feed to come from sunrise farms. Same place that makes feed for Polyface farms.

Sunrise Farms, I am sitting out with the ducks and for the life of me couldn’t remember that name. Yes only feed I buy from Tucker is the 6 way scratch my birds like it and it doesn’t have porcine in it . Sunrise is more money but worth it.

I make FF for my flock and boy does that porcine feed stink when wet! That’s too bad you can’t get Sun Rise there.

Regarding the feed discussion: I figured out where the pellets that i bought at my lumber store came from. I was always wondering why there was an orange strip of plastic stuck in the closing seem of the pellet-bags. One day, while loading the bags i just bought i spotted an orange piece of plastic on the ground, the same orange! Picked it up and it turned out to be a sticker from the feed-mill, address and phone number included! And it was just in the neighboring unincorporated community! Met the nicest hill-billies, showed them pictures of my ducks and i buy straight at the source now.
