-duckling video- choking? sneeze? blockage? Is something wrong?

I’m so glad it’s something that’s easily treatable. And no wonder she was acting like that. I bet it was super painful. Thanks @Miss Lydia for stating what seems like the obvious but is overlooked quite a bit!!! You suggested the same thing awhile back and a poor duck had a stick lodged back in its throat and it’s all better now!

I wish I would have seen it earlier. I only looked that close because of the swelling. You could just barely see it. My husband couldn't see it at all. It was right where her skin meets her bill on the underneath side. I had to move feathers around until I could snip it

You found it in time and that's what counts. Now she can start getting better. Sounds like you're already seeing improvement. She's lucky to have you.

She had one bite of soft food and went right over to the regular food. I can't believe how quickly she's getting back to normal. I hope this was it and we don't discover another problem from the string.

Oh is there anything I should do about the string she swallowed? Hope for the best, give something for soft poops???

Give plenty of grit to help grind it up, I'm sure she will pass it

I am so happy you found the problem. She sure bounced right back afterwards too. Making up for lost time lol. Bless your heart for keeping at it till you found it!!
