Duckling with broken beak. PLEASE HELP!

Hi guys,
I just hatched some ducklings that are about three days old now, and one of them was seriously injured. I don't know why, but the mama rejected this one, so I've been keeping him separate. But I just came home today and found him in a different pen with the top part of his break half gone! I think it was my daughter trying to put him in with the mama, but how it happened isn't as important right now. But nite he can't eat out drink and he'll did if I don't do something. I can't afford a vet right now but abuse would be nice!
Will the beak grow back as he gets older?
Should I give feed him out have him put down?
I really like this duckling (he imprinted on me) and will do anything I can to save him!

Don't know if this will help at all I just googled for it. Hope your little one is ok, looks very painful poor little thing, I hope you can get it some help & it doesn't have to be put to sleep, my fingers are crossed for u. Would break my heart if anything happened to our babies. Good luck xx

Update: I cleaned the beak with antibiotics and rinsed out the dirt with animal oral disinfectant. He doesn't seem to be in pain, as he is nibbling at my fingers and trying to eat crumbs from the ground. I also tried giving him some watered down food, which he ate messily yet happily. From what I have read, there is a possibility that his beak will grow back, because the cuticle is still in tact. It will must likely be deformed for the rest of his life, but is still usable.
He will definitely get some special treatment and most likely becomea house duck.

Update:
Day three since the accident and he seems to be doing ok. I decided to name him Saimon (pronounced Simon). He has been eating well and good poops are normal. I am not sure if he can get water from his dish very well but what he can't drink he gets from the food. He doesn't like swimming like the other ducklings but I had to give him a bath anyway(he was covered with his food). I have been looking into the possibility of a prosthetic beak in the future (I found many success stories) but can't do it now because I can't afford it and he is still growing.
He is looking better and his chances of living grow every day. I will post of anything else happens.

That is an adorable little guy, looking at you in such a trusting way. Here's hoping his beak grows back.

Poor thing. I might do some mash of syringe feed him if that is easier for him. It should grow back though.

So glad he is fighting I was so sad 4 u when I read this post. We've had our own sad day in our house on Friday I came home from work to only 3 ducklings when I left in the morning their were 4 babies with mum & dad.... We were all devastated my hubby thinks a cat or maybe a bird as swooped on them, I didnu even think of predators like that taking them it didn't even cross my mind, I didn't think there were even birds in the part of the UK we live that wud take them until a friend mentioned magpies are prone to taking them plus there is a rather large tom cat in the road behind ours but he hasn't been in the garden for a long time as the dog normally sees him off!!!

So now the babies are not allowed out unless under adult supervision! They r grounded until they r big enough to play out on their own with mum & dad! I feel awful for the poor little thing & terribly guilty I should have been there to protect it! Learn by out mistakes don't we!!!
