duckling with hurt leg

They sure are I think I’ll go hug a few of mine:love

update....ducking is able to use her leg....she is walking better & using it to stand up....she still favors that leg & it splays towards the outside when she uses it, but it appears to be getting better....

the chocolate duckling a the back is the one with the hurt leg....first pic she is laying down, second is her standing on her hurt leg....

That's great news! might want to consider a hobble for a day or so if the leg continues to splay. They are adorable little things.

I feel kind of evil right now because I find myself eager for spring and sort of rooting for lost/orphaned ducklings that I can rescue and cuddle for a day or two before taking them to a wildlife rehab place. They're so tiny, fuzzy and cuuuute.

Why do you want to do that? Why don't you just get some and keep them? You seem to be very interested in ducks.
