duckling with possible niacin deficiency getting worse

It all boils down to the amount of niacin in one ml or teaspoon, or whatever. The three products you bought are good products, but they contain very little niacin. If I had a duck that I suspected had a niacin deficiency I would give the a b complex with niacin orally at least once a day.

Give you little duckling 1 ml a day if possible not in water. If she eats good try putting it over her feed just a small amount of feed so she gets the full dose. Or you could introduce her to dried meal worms and put the liquid b over that. Do half ml in the morning half ml at night since she is so tiny. If you decide to use a dropper just tiny amounts and make sure she swallows before giving another you don’t want her asperiating the liquid.

Ok thank you! I’m going to get it now

Keep us updated please.
First dose in! That was hard . She won’t eat without her friend. And would t drink it straight or on meal worms so they both had mashed banana soaked in the b complex. Her friend didn’t get a lot but has to have her there or pepper refuses food. It’s polite but hard for giving her this

It’s okay they can both benefit by it. Just do the best you can.since both are taking go ahead and just give 1 ml between them did you get the one from TSC?
Yes I got the exact one you gave picture of. I have a plan for the evening dose to try to get pepper to have the medicated bananas and peaches to have regular bananas. Also- is itching part of niacin deficiency? She’s soooo itchy. She has been from day one. I read it could be normal - feathers coming in but just wondering if could be something else. She looks as if she had a touch of dandruff by the end of the day before her bath

They do produce some dandruff nothing like chicks though. And when feathers begin to come in that can make them itch too. I am looking to see if B's deficiency can cause it but hopefully it will help. Sounds like a good plan for Pepper and Peaches. Do the like their bath time? how does Pepper do in the water?
