Ducklings are different sizes-sick?

I am so glad the 2 small ones are doing well!

Do you need more ducklings? If not, just take the eggs as your duck lays them and make cakes! I love duck eggs for baking.

Thanks Terrie, yes I will make some cakes!!!!
No more ducklings for now!!
I forgot to mention that i just put the broody silky in the day pen with my 2 rescued ducklings to see wether she would like to look after them, but the duckies attacked her. She looked like she was friendly toward them too, silly duckies, she would have been so warm and cosy at night for them.

We adopted 12, day-old, wild mallard ducklings when their mother was lost. We thankfully had a full-term broody chicken so we had her take over the adoption. They are 4 weeks today and there are definite size differences but we haven't had any losses. She keeps whomever needs it warm and we've had good weather which helps. Definitely make sure food crowding isn't happening. A second or third bowl ... removing them from situation. Seems like you have it covered now! Good luck!
