Ducklings belly didn’t heal right! Help!

Hello, Need some advice… this little guys belly didn’t heal properly and he’s starting to act off as of today. He/She is a week old. I noticed at hatch it wasn’t looking perfect, but he’s been doing well right up until now. He’s looking slightly lethargic, and his belly looks like it’s starting to bloat. I had a chick not long ago with something similar and it didn’t make it. I would love to try my very best to save him. I just blotted it with warm water then sprayed some colloidal silver on it, but thinking it’s more of an internal thing at this point. He has electrolyte water and I’ve been encouraging that as well. I don’t want to proceed any further without proper guidance. What can I do?

@Miss Lydia what would you recommend? Amoxicillin or Baytril?

The belly starting to bloat is not a good sign. I'd start an antibiotic to see if that helps, but the infection may be too advanced.

Do you have anything on hand?

Abx can be hard to source right now since the recent changes took everything off the shelves. You can still order certain things, but a lot of things are scarce and you will have to wait on shipping.

I agree it looks a bit infected with the yellowing around it
Was this baby assisted or did he hatch on his own ?
You said this is the second one this has happened so I’m wondering what’s going on at hatch time
What is their brooder like. What kind of bedding are you using ? How often is it cleaned ?
Do you offer baths ?
Not trying to dig but want to help figure out what’s gone on so we can prevent it happening and hopefully you get some better luck
Until you get some medications do you have antibiotic ointment without pain relief
Not sure it’s going to fully help but maybe till you get some meds
You can also give baby a few drops of the silver directly on its tongue as well
I give silver to my birds
My full grown ducks I give 1ml so a baby I would do a few drops

Trying to get antibiotics now may be a problem but here is where I ordered Baytril and they have other meds too.
