Ducklings can’t seem to stand

Never heard of putting a duckling in an egg carton,if the yolk hasn’t absorbed we rec putting one on soft dry paper towel in a cup or bowl till the yolk absorbs.

Sadly the duckling has dead through the night I didn’t help it out but was born very quick all in less than 24 hours I thought nothing of it but don’t want that happening again my daughters going to be heart broken

Make a safety hole where it pipped and then wait. It's most important that it get air. I would make one about a quarter of the size of a dime. I make bigger ones than normal for wrong way pippers. Then wai t 24 hours. If he's not zipping come back and we will chat further. Also lets see what others say too.

The person I got the eggs off told me the same thing I did then he said to check if any blood veins I sprayed a little and only a few small so taken it back to beak and seeing if it can do the rest itself now it has air
