Ducklings coming in tomorrow!

I hope those that are ordering this time of year ask for the heat pac.
Agreed, I have some chicks who had to stay in my garage till 6 weeks but it has been FREEZING, they are doing fine but I still worry, I prefer them outside though because they broke their heating lamp 3 times... first time i've ever experienced that.

I'm not sure what Pedialyte is. I've never used it before.
I just mix a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and a tablespoon of honey into one quart of water and give them that for the first day or two. It boosts their immune system and helps them get off to a good start. :)
Pedialyte is just an electrolyte for very young children and babies. It's sold over-the-counter almost anywhere you can buy groceries or cold meds and comes in both liquid and individual powder packet form. Think of it as Gatorade for kids. It's a great, inexpensive substitute for Nutridrench, which can get hard to find around home, here. Oh - and generic works just as well as name brand.

What kind of feed s do you have .? Now on to the fun but not necessarily stuff. Pick up frozen green peas whe yo get a chance. Wait a few days before you give them as treats. It’s the best for getting them to eat out of you hand.just set a couple handfuls in hot water for about an hour before you Hand feed them their treats. It’s best not to feed them peas before they really get into eating their main food. Get ready for them to grow before your eyes. Also, I demand pictures by the time I get home tonight.
We have 4 other ducks. All raised from ducklings. And yes they love peas and I have two bags in my freezer! They’ll definitely be getting some in a few days. As well as lots of love and cuddles so they are super friendly! Their feed is the chick starter that our other ducklings & chicks are on. Lots of pictures to come! :)

More photos to come when I get home! Both of my ducklings arrived ALIVE! Thankfully! I was very nervous to order them as well! They’re actually at work with me, I didn’t have time to get them & drop them off at home so I had a box prepared with everything they need and they’re chilling with me all day! (I’m a toddler teacher, so my kids got to see baby ducklings too, they loved them!) They were very talkative this morning chirping up a storm but have quieted down, filled their bellies and drank lots of water & taken many naps in the back of their heat cave!
