Ducklings curling necks under them into a circle?

KG I just looked up what you posted and that is EXACTLY what these ducklings are doing! What do you guys think about making a fresh batch of water with a vitamin B complex in it?

Go for it!! if your seeing improvement with just the niacin hopefully with the complex they will really turn around.

They call that the "bends " in england. it is usually just a runt that gets it or if they have a significant lack of nutrients, often salt.

One passed away in the night. It was the weakest looking one. The other three are still eating and drinking okay. They are moving and peeping a lot more, but two still curl their heads up when I approach them. When I observe them from a distance they seem to be acting fairly normal.

I've just been changing their water every few hours with fresh vitamins in it and dipping their beaks occasionally. Does anyone know how long after you start trying to correct the vitamin deficiency you will see improvement?

Eating and drinking are good signs, some have seen improvement in 24hrs but I'd be inclined to say more like 36-48 even longer. Just keep doing what you are and hopefully the littles will be fine soon. Are they able to get to food and water on their own?

I'm sorry you lost one.
