So I got ducklings awhile back, I only got two, but we think we've already figured out their genders. I'm 85% sure we got a male and a female, anywho, Dandidoo (the female) hasn't really been walking too good lately. Yesterday she would only stand up for around 5 seconds at a time, let alone walk. Her coop-mate, Zuuker (the male) would walk just fine, and whenever she would follow Zuuker she'd just sort of drag herself to wherever he went. Today she was better, she would walk, but when she did she'd hold her wings out as if she were having a hard time balancing. We also realized today that both of her feet seemed to curve inward, so in conclusion, she's pigeon toed.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks for reading!

P.S. Can a duck get duck feet? A pigeon get pigeon toes?

I think it's that purine flock raiser crumbles food, that and lots and lots of mealworms.

How old are your duckling?
Ducklings need niacin added to their diet till 10 weeks old
And protein level 15-17 % at 3 weeks on to prevent leg and wing deformities
I use nutritional yeast and some use brewers yeast.
1 tablespoon per cup of feed

My Welsh Harlequin female has one pigeon toe, so just one leg twists in and she used to step on her own feet as a duckling, resulting in her just giving up and laying down a lot. I was supplementing with brewers yeast to try to help it, but she basically just got wider when she grew, so it doesn't affect her as much. She's always a bit clumsier than the rest, but it otherwise doesn't seem to phase her much.

We've already ordered some brewer's yeast and it should be arriving today, I'm glad to know that even if it doesn't work she won't always be sitting as often as she is now

I'm not sure if the picture loaded in, but these are the ducks... Dandidoo is the one closest to the outlet. Her pigeon toes don't look to bad in this one, but it's one of the only pictures I have of her standing up. I don't exactly know how old they are, all I know is that I got them 2 weeks back and I never asked how old they were when we got them.

That would make since, do they start quacking at week 3? We've heard them start quacking instead of peeping lately...

I can't remember, so hopefully someone else can answer. I just know that by 4 weeks they should have some feathers in various places peeking through. They still appear to be covered in down.
