Ducklings on the way from Metzer Farms!

I wonder why the scanning/tracking of these isn't as good. The Metzer site does mention that they'll often fail to scan them. I'm curious if USPS just forgets because they are special treatment or what.

My tracking was relatively complete. Sounds like they don't have a status for "pending customer pickup" though.. And my PO didn't call until 11 am...

I'm sure every office is a little different in their process too..

Ditto! I guess that's what most people order so it's what they're expecting.

When I have ducklings or chicks coming I leave a note for my mailman to let the office know I want to pick them up and they always call me way before they open to the public.

Your ducklings are adorable. Sorry, you lost the welsh hoping the 2 new ones make it without any trouble.

All the little duckies are the doing well. Field trip outside today. They met our 1 year old Mallard... She gave them a couple bossy pecks but didn't seem bothered by them.

No word from the PO, still "in transit" . Looks like i have 3-day shipping this time. Same route as last time, which was 2 days...

Hopefully they are ok! 3 days in a box is a lot
