I just am getting confused with information. So, I have gotten some more ducks. I live in Northern Texas, so our winters aren't as terrible as some places. I am just concerned about when they can start moving outside at night with my older ducks. Right now they hang out with them during the day as it gets up to mid to high 60s. I just am curious when I could let them stay out over night with the older ducks. The lows at night are around 38°F on a cold day. Now tonight the the low is around 60°F. I have 4 and they will be 7 weeks on Tuesday. They love going outside. I have a nice cover and it is set up where my adult ducks can see them but can't touch them. I am also wondering when I can start introducing them to the older ducks. There is 1 drake in the current flock. I have been doing that for about a week. The older female sits right next to them. The male doesn't really care for them unless they get super close then he acts like he wants to get through the fence which concerns me. Any advise on either the temps and the integrating would be appreciated.
