Ducklings with slight problem, not to important!

Hi!
I was wondering, can give my duckling dog pain killer? I think he has a hip problem and when he runs he seems to be in pain. My two Call ducklings are a lot faster then he is!

You might be able to, but make sure to research the right amount and be VERY careful. The dog pain killer, if given in amounts too big, can cause damage. It is made for dogs that have a stronger immune system, and birds need different amounts then dogs.

I’ve heard any pain killer can be bad for them but I’m not sure. Some turmeric in their food would be safe and should help their pain some though. It’s anti inflammatory

I agree, it may not be safe to give to birds.

You don't know how to upload them or take them?
The thing about giving pain medicine, it might just be a bowed leg. Usually when animals are in pain in the legs they don't move as much. As well, without knowing the name of the medication, we can't offer advice as to whether or not it should be used on a duck. Most are hesitant to give any pain medication.
