Ducklings

Hi! So I'm brand new to this site as well as raising chickens. I'm ordering mine within the next month and I'm very excited! I actually have a question pertaining to wild ducks though. My grandpa found three duck eggs scattered in his yard while he was mowing so he moved them to a safe spot, when he was walking to this spot a duck took off and we found three more duck eggs! Would anyone here know if ducks will hatch eggs that they possibly did not lay? We've also decided that if she doesn't come back (we're afraid grandpa spooked her bad) we will try to hatch them ourselves, but I was wanting some advice on that if it comes down to that.
