Ducks and chickens?

My male duck has a female mate but he goes after my hens. He mates with them, is this a problem? Will he hurt them? Should I separate the ducks from the chickens? Sylviaanne

This can be a serious problem. Drakes have a penis - roosters do not. The chicken hen's anatomy is not meant to have objects inserted into it. Separate them before your hens are seriously injured or killed.
