Duck's and tail curl

Do most of the drake's have the curl on the tail,or is it just certain breed's?

I'm pretty sure all breeds have the curly drake feather, but I'm not sure about Muscovies. What kind of ducks do you have?

I have 2 rouen drakes,1 pekin,and 3 muscovies.They are all about the same age,and the rouen's are the only one's with the tail curl.

My male cayuga and male pekin have the curly tail also.

Muskovies don't but all the other domestic ducks do.

All above is correct, but I would add that you will be able to tell the scovy drakes because of their frankenfeet before you ever hear their voices. The drakes are also up to 2 x the size of the ducks. You will see the diff at about 2 to 3 weeks.

Like a lolloping puppy, the drakes' feet are too big for them and they almost stumble over their feet.
