Ducks are so confusing! Pics included

I made some changes! The ducks are now moved to their own pen- with their own building to sleep in. We have an old smokehouse that has plenty of ventilation and is bigger than the chicken coop I have for my 20 layers. The problem is now they keep running back to their old spot! LOL. I am going to try to work with them a little more and get them more used to people. And get some frozen peas. Hopefully we will reach some sort of homeostasis soon. I will try to post some pics tomorrow.

Can't wait for pics. Ducks are a creature of habit so it may take a few days but food usually will be enough encouragement to get them to change their ways. Glad you got their living situation figured out

With my Runners, one pea party and it's declared tradition! I think treats will help, and it is great to see a responsive duck steward. They are lovely ducks! Nice mixes.

That's great! I'm sure they will get used to the new location, just give them a little time. They really do get into their routines, but the treats will definitely help. ^-^
