I also Have a 13 yr old boy who wanted a duck or was it a pigeon geez at this point I can't remember who came first!!! Be very careful

you may be forced to move lol as it can really snowball on you!! The duck I think led to the pigeons then it was the pheasants and the chickens BUT wow did it decrease the PS3 time lOL fowl are fantastic pets you should do it if YOU will help him, certainly does demand your boy to learn responsibility and ducks form a great bond with you, probably think I'm nuts but install a pet door its great when they let themselves out for a swim! (watch out for dogs, it's a game of chase that sooo gets outa hand!) and if you find you can't handle it, you will have no problem finding him a home and think what your son will have learned and the memories he will have!!



by the way single ducks will NOT die thats just silly, more happy with one of their own kind but a hatchling believes he is a person too!
