Ducks ate bread

Not sure what to do... I have backyard ducks and one of my neighbors gave them a chunk of bread over the fence. I have a drake and two ducks. Both Ducks consistently lay 6 days out of the week for me at least and my silver Appleyard hasn't laid an egg in 5 days. at first her belly wasn't getting big or hard but now I'm not so sure, I made sure they have plenty of pool time and she seem healthy and happy otherwise. I don't know how to help her.

Should be ok. I give my geese and ducks bread all the time. They love it.

Who said that bread is toxic to ducks? - My ducks get all those "bad" things from time to time: The left-over slice of bread, spaghetti, they love french fry "worms".
You can't feed duck only bread, but as a treat here and there it is very welcome.
Try spaghetti some times! You will wet yourself watching them dealing with those long "worms"!

Oh, and ducks sometimes take vacations from the egg laying business, especially in their first year. Nothing to worry about.

Welcome to BYC - better to care than not give a darn. As others have stated a little bread poses no problem, but neighbors should not be feeding your animals.

I though the ducks ate tainted bread or something!
Just normal bread though lol!
They'll be fine, but they'll probably want more bread.
