Ducks being stubborn or is it me??

In my limited experience, ducks have preferences that don't necessarily accord with our idea of what is nice for ducks. My son has three nesting boxes in his coop and they almost always all lay in just one. Sometimes two ducks will be squeezed in together in the morning!! They do use the second box about one in three times. The third box is only used by the drake for taking a nap during the day. it took some moving the boxes around to get a second box used at all -- the smallest pekin would squeeze down by the outside of the preferred box and lay on the coop floor if she couldn't get into the preferred box.

Let them be and they will probably get used to the dog house and decide to use it

I have been getting them out every day for at least an hour. Expanded their cage to add a bigger pool. The doghouse is home to one duck that lays their egg inside everyday but that is all I’m getting. Is she being possessive of the dog house and not letting the other ducks lay there? I initially got 2 eggs I believe from the 2 Khaki Campbell ducks now just one is laying. Been a couple weeks now and it has been pretty constant one egg everyday.

I would check under trees or other hiding places for eggs. Even when ducks have a place to lay eggs they don't necessarily use it. My ducks each lay in different places. One lays her egg in the dirt in the corner of the fence. Sometimes they bury them a little bit, too.
