Just make sure that the bottom part can be easily dumped out for cleaning. I'm amazed at the amount of "silt" that builds up in a duck's waterer in one day!

I second that! Ducks are nasty creatures who like to pick up dirt and slosh it around in the waterer. I have to dump mine every single day, sometimes twice a day, because it gets so dirty.
