One was a Drake the other a hen and she stopped laying when it got cold. They are on a layer feed. But this is the first time they were on the layer food because when we asked for chicken feed they gave us this for the first time. Today I'm going to buy something different.Were the ones that died drakes or hens? If hens, are they laying? Drakes and non-laying hens should not be fed a layer feed because it's too high in calcium and can cause kidney problems.
