ducks from TSC??? help would be great!!

Ours didn't have a minimum order either, so I got four! Two are either Mallards or Rouens, the other two are Pekins, and they have grown SO MUCH since Tuesday. It's crazy!

I was secretly hoping for some Cayuga ducklings, but they only had two breeds.

Please....Please check the dates on the food you buy from TSC chick feed. They over bought last yr it seems and now they have tons of 0ct... or Aug feed from last yr. This feed has lost most of its food value at this point and is not good for new babies of anykind but horrible for ducklings most of all!!!!!!! Just a friendly warning Allie

I have only had experience with buff, Pekin, and Rouen. If you want a sturdy, large duck, i would choose one of those. Get a Khaki or a Runner if you want eggs. If you just want a pet cayugas or swedes. I don't recommend Mallards because my friends did fly off one year and never came home.

Calls are the cutest little ducks you will ever see they are considered to be bantam ducks. to small to eat and the eggs are small to. You will need covered pens because they fly very well and are just bite sized for small hawks or owls. Land bound varmits will eat them too.~gd

i cant say for sure but from what i have been told about getting baby ducks from tsc is they order them from ideal poultry so there should be a mix of all kinds! i know at our store they have to have a certain amount of people wanting them or they wont order them!!
