Ducks going on deck pooping :/

Not sure how many birds you have on your porch, and what the whole setup is, but I occasionally will have thirty or so Calls on mine. They do poop a lot, but I just wash it off afterwards.

What colors are the ones in the close left?

You can try this! They are shiny, and should scare them off the porch. Or you can try this spray!
For the first link, I bet you could just use normal pinwheels too, and it would be cheeper. Of the spray, if you type chickens into the questions and awnsers column, then it says that you can us not keep chickens you of a garden, I bet it would work of ducks too!

If you aren't concerned about the appearance, and you want a cheap fix, instead of actual gates, I just used plastic garden fencing -- because my deck is visited by ducks chickens and geese.

I finally took it down, not because it doesn't work but because it prevented the chickens from "knocking" at the door when they want grapes. Now, I use a scrub brush and a hose to keep the deck cleaner and warn visitors to watch their step.
