Ducks Has Hole In Foot Webbing

If it were a tiny hole I wouldn't be too concerned but it's a little too big for something else not to get caught in it. I thought I remembered someone mentioning something about medical glue or some type of liquid medical sewture??? If I try and sew it, melody would never forgive me, I'm an awful seamstress! Each day she'll look down at that foot and think to herself, "I wish this lady would have taken a sewing class before she stitched me up like a zig zag puzzle!!!" :hmm
:hugs
Wonder about trying steri-strips to try and hold it where it would close up? Of course that's if you could keep it on:hmm
They seem to find a way to get any kind of bandage off!

Steri-strips won't work on thin, wide, flat membrane... especially since it constantly flexes and it is almost always taut from tension...

What about super glue?
I use it on myself
But I guess if the piece of the hole is missing then there may not be a way to glue it

Not only that, but you would have to get the edges sealed together without the glue in between any part of the edges... that would prevent the tissue from resealing together as it heals...

Plus the edges need to be bloody or they aren't going to knit.

Wish i had some brilliant answer, but I'm sorry I don't.
I would guess that the hole will always be there but should heal just fine. Other than getting it snagged, I'd expect her to adjust to having it open.

Hey, how about liquid bandaid?

Does it ever end with these birds? Can I have atleast one peaceful, calm, worryfree day with my birds? Apparently not! You would think they were children!!!!:D Now my girl has gone and ripped a whole in her foot. I tried to get some close pics but of course she wasn't having that. Is there anyway I can fix her webbing? She appears to not have a problem with it but I'm concerned she'll get something caught in it and make it much worse. Any suggestions?
I know your post is 3 yrs old, but I was wondering what you ended up doing for the hole in your duck's webbing.. My Daisy Duck has a hole in her web. I think she may have got caught up at the bottom of the chain link fencing, tho I'm not sure. Just noticed a few days ago in the morning but it's possible it happened the day before while free-ranging. (I was more concerned with checking the toe of Daphne Duck who was recovering from bumblefoot). The hole is so close to the front edge I'm afraid she could tear completely. Thank for any advise you can give! And No, it never ends! But I love them all anyways!
