the fluff that’s in her nare? ( nares are their ‘nostrils’)
i’m pretty sure it’s not actually growing out from there , but rather gets caught in there when she is preening . she needs to always have a water bucket that’s deep enough to stick her whole head into. she will clear the fluff out of her nares .
rarely, a little stick or bit of straw can get stuck in there, and then you have to pull it out for her. also I see she has a pool there so yeah she will blow out the fluffs
It's normal ducky fluff stuck there from preening. My ducks have deep water and still get fluff in their names from preening: I insist on pulling it out for them -- another little attention to my ducky masters. They don't care whether there is or is not fluff.

It’s just feather fluff
I have all kinds of ponds , pools abc deep water buckets and mine still get it
Especially the young ones getting adult feathers or adults going through a molt
